Grey exterior. The Competition variant adds power and chassis calibration over the standard X3 M, positioning it as the most focused iteration of the mid-size SUV. M-specific suspension with adaptive dampers, M brakes, and the Competition's recalibrated steering and throttle response distinguish it from the wider X3 range.
This is BMW M's answer to the performance SUV brief, built with the same engine architecture and drivetrain philosophy that defines the M3 and M4 of the same generation. The F97 Competition remains one of the sharpest-driving SUVs BMW M has produced. Inspection by appointment at Arden Street.
