Overview
2022 McLaren GT. Mid-engined, twin-turbocharged V8, rear-wheel drive, dual-clutch transmission. 3,633 kilometres recorded. Black over black hide. McLaren's grand tourer trades the blade-sharp urgency of the Sport Series for daily usability without losing the mid-engine layout or the carbon fibre MonoCell that defines the marque. Longer wheelbase, more boot space front and rear, a softer suspension tune calibrated for distance rather than lap times. The GT sits apart in the range as the only model built to cover continents in comfort while retaining the throttle response and mechanical precision McLaren buyers expect. Black on black is a deliberate choice, understated against the more extroverted palette McLaren offers. Low kilometres for a two-year-old example. Inspection by appointment.
